Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure in which the stratum corneum (dead outermost surface of the skin) is partially or completely removed by light abrasion. By removing the dead surface layers of the skin this stimulates collagen and rejuvenation of the skin, revealing a more softer youthful appearance.

How does Microdermabrasion work?

The procedure uses a specialised device that employs a diamond-tipped wand to buff the skin’s surface, while a vacuum simultaneously removes the exfoliated cells and debris. This process stimulates circulation and encourages collagen production, which can help improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity.

Microdermabrasion is effective in reducing the appearance of fine lines, mild acne scars, sun damage, and enlarged pores, leaving the skin looking more radiant and refreshed with minimal downtime.

Most clients notice an improvement in skin texture, tone and colour.
